New Technology Glazing Machine for Sanitaryware

Written by Venkatmani

Just found this video on the net. Looks like a robot spraying method, but This technology is different. The time taken to spray per piece is very small compared to other methods of spraying used in sanitaryware because the number of a spray gun used at a time is more than the normal spraying method. Normally maximum two guns will be used in the robot for spraying glaze and one more gun will be used for spraying water(optional). Manual loading and unloading are required for this kind of spraying.

Hi,

I am not familiar with tiles composition and how much sanitaryware pitcher you can use it in tiles production. But i believe you can try up-to 5%. sanitary ware generally consist of 30% to 45% of clay mixture of ball clay & China clay. others are mixture of feldspar and quarts. Quartz will be 13% to 20%. Feldspar Will be 28% to 36%. The composition depends on the quality of raw materials and the required properties for the slip.
